Chapter 129
Commanding Wind and Cloud
Chapter 129: A Fierce Tiger’s Rampage, Bloody Kill in the Mourning Hall
The coffin wasn’t too large. Qian Jin walked half a circle around the coffin, but he was suddenly was stopped by someone. It was Caesars, who was glaring at him. In the past two years, Caesars had developed a strong resentment and rage toward Qian Jin, who showed up in his dreams just to frighten him. He fixed all his attention on Qin Jin to the point where he had even forgotten that his feet were still treading on Rollin’s coffin.
It had been two years! The guy had been his nightmare for two years! Caesars gazed at Qian Jin, wearing a faint smile on his face. It’s time to finish off this guy today! It was Qian Jin himself who asked for this fight, and Caesars was still looking for an excuse to take the initiative.
“I might’ve been afraid of you two years ago, but now? Hum hum…” Caesars turned his smile into a grimace and slightly raised his chin to look at Qian Jin. He felt that it a blessing to have pled the Cae Family for this job, as he could not only extort the entire property of the Roll Family for the sake of establishing his merits in expanding his family’s influence in Oakland City, but also give a lesson to this adversary toward whom he had held hatred for two years.
Caesars peeked at the warrior who was sitting not far from him drinking tea. This time, his family had called on a Level 10 Warrior, two Demon Fighters, and one mage! Even if Qian Jin had been training at Oakland Mage and Warrior Academy for the past few years, he would still be smashed like a small ant by the overwhelming power of the Cae Family, let alone the fact that he had been missing for the past two years.
Caesars lifted his hand to feel for his slightly hawk-shaped nose. A rampant intent danced on his wry face, “Qian Jin, do you think the academy was the same as what it was two years ago? Don’t you remember what you have done to me in the past? Now, we have brought with us two demon fighters and this Level 10 Warrior…”
The warrior sitting on the chair drinking tea raised his head slightly. Scorn showed on his face. He then glimpsed at Qian Jin with a merciful look and lowered his head to observe his teacup.
The four vigilant warriors relaxed instantly after hearing what Caesars said, and they blamed themselves for being too timid. The Cae Family had dispatched two Demon Fighters, one mage and this Level 10 Warrior. As long as their actions conformed with the law, no one including the mayor and the city guardian could claim any opposition, let alone this negligible warrior apprentice.
Caesars smiled, as the Cae Family had called on a bloodline warrior for help, too! Yet, there was no need to confess it to the irrelevant inferiors…
“What’s happening here is none of your business.” Caesars said with swelling confidence on the thought of the Cae Family. He raised his hand to point at Qian Jin’s nose, “But since you have already come here…”
Qian Jin flashed a glance at the leg stepping on Rollin’s coffin, and raised his brows upon the mournful eyes, showing no sign of ceasing his quest for revenge. The four warriors instantly got ahold of Qian Jin’s intent and were about to exert strength out of their feet when Qian Jin harshly lifted his legs high and then dropped it down like a battle axe! Caesars’s leg that was treading on Rollin’s coffin was fiercely hit.
Crack!
The crisp and loud crack of the fracturing bone disturbed the silence of the mourning hall.
Qian Jin could kick down a log half an inch wide with his legs, let alone the feeble legs and knees of Caesars.
Bone cracking sounds rung like a slap. Caesars bent over to hold his left leg which had been fractured and curled over the ground, uttering mournful screeches which resembled that of a pig being slaughtered.
Qian Jin kept his calm and sober look! He didn’t show any other expression at the sight of Caesars lying on the ground, which added to the desolate and dreadful ambience of the mourning hall. “How dare you set your despicable foot on the place Rollin is sleeping?”
The four warriors were stupefied by Qian Jin’s act, which was venomous and somber! It’s such an appalling move to attack the opponent without saying anything and smash one’s knee without showing any concern.
The four warriors couldn’t believe what was happening in front of them as they looked into each other’s eyes filled with doubt. They thought to themselves whether this guy had lost his min. Hadn’t he heard what Caesars said just now? The Cae Family invested a lot in intruding Oakland City! One Level 10 Warrior and two demon fighters! Demon fighters! Against such a compelling force, how dare he smash Caesars’s knees without saying anything? The deformation of Caesar’s legs would be irreversible for life…
Did he know who he was challenging? Was Caesars a demon beast? He attacked Caesars so ruthlessly!
The warrior sitting on the chair drinking tea leisurely threw his cup onto the table, propped the handle of the chair to slowly get up, picked up the sword on the table and walked to Qian Jin. He glanced at the groaning Caesars with an unsatisfactory look and then turned to Qian Jin and said, “Break your legs and one of your arms by yourself and get out of here and I will turn a deaf ear to what had happened here. But if you don’t, I’ll take measures…”
Qian Jin opened his eyes slightly to look at the militant warrior and said faintly, “A Level 10 Warrior?”
The warrior wore a lofty and content look on his face as he raised his chin unconsciously and looked into Qian Jin with a sneer. A Level 10 Warrior! This was someone secondary only to the mayor and city guardians of Oakland! As for Qian Jin who was a grade one warrior apprentice of Oakland Mage and Warrior Academy two year ago, how could anyone count on his strength? As a Level 10 Warrior, he was capable of smashing him into pieces as effortlessly as pinching an insect with a single finger.
Crack! Qian Jin suddenly clenched his fingers, making a crisp sound in the air. He suddenly swung his wrist and lifted it slightly to hit on his opponent’s stomach!
Bang! Before that Level 10 Warrior could realize what was going on, he was hit in his stomach. His face, which was glistening with loftiness, became distorted. With power penetrating his stomach and rushing from his back, his clothes bounced. His feet could no longer remain fixed on the ground, and in the blink of an eye, he flew backward uncontrollably. He heard Qian Jin say, “I became a Level 10 Warrior two years ago!”
Two years ago? How come? The Level 10 Warrior flying backwards couldn’t help but throw up the tea he had just drunk and the food he ate for breakfast, which was mixed with his blood. He couldn’t believe what he heard. How old was Qian Jin two years ago? Even at this moment after two years, it was still unthinkable that he had become a Level 10 Warrior…
Crack! The Level 10 Warrior flew backwards in the air less than one meter before he was suddenly obstructed by something behind his head. It stopped him from moving any further. It turned out to be Qian Jin’s hand stretching over his neck. It seized his head just with one move.
“How in the world could you sit at the place Rollin slept at?” Qian Jin’s ghastly voice echoed in the Level 10 Warrior’s ears, and the room was suddenly filled with cracking sound of fracturing bones.
The Level 10 Warrior growled in pain. Before he could land on the ground, Qian Jin raised his legs to step on the back of the Level 10 Warrior’s knees.
Crack! Bang! The Level 10 Warrior’s legs were broken, and his knees pounded onto the ground, taking the posture of kneeling by Rollin’s coffin.
Qian Jin showed no concern to the Level 10 Warrior who was in pain kneeling on the ground or those four warriors. He turned back, grasped Caesars’ head, lifted him up, took him to the shoeprints on Rollin’s coffin and said in a cold voice, “Lick it clean.”
The four warriors were shocked at what was going on in the mourning hall as they were motionless. A sense of coldness rose from theirs back to their head. Julius’s teeth crashed with each other uncontrollably, producing creaking sounds in the room. Qian Jin’s deed was too miserable.
Caesars opened his eyes at Qian Jin, longing to say something dreadful. However, when they looked into each other’s eyes, Caesars quivered so heavily that he had forgotten the pain in his body, let alone the intent to threaten Qian Jin with the bountiful wealth and overwhelming power of the Cae Family. He put out his tongue and was ready to lick it.
“Go away! Don’t taint Rollin’s things.” Qian Jin exerted strength in his arms. He pulled Caesars backward one meter, and raised his leg to kick the back of Caesar’s knee. Instantly, the mourning hall was again laden with the crisp sounds of knees pounding on the ground.
“Don’t you know the ritual of attending a funeral?” Qian Jin said in a cold voice, seizing the back of Caesar’s head. “Well, I will tell you how to do it. It requires you to kowtow!”
Bang! There was a strong impulse transmitted into the back of Caesars’ head. His forehead pounded on the floor, blowing away the dust on the ground.
For the next second, the ground was covered with scarlet red blood. Caesars felt that his head had been broken and the whole world was swinging. Everything he saw in front of him had turned red.
Bang! Caesar’s forehead touched the ground again fiercely, creating a splash of scarlet blood on the ground. The whole world seemed fade from view, as if it was collapsing.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The four warriors and Julius watched Caesar’s head being lifted up and pushed down over at least nine times a second, turning Caesars’ head into a bleeding ball.
Qian Jin wiped his bloodstained hand over Caesars’ body and grasped his neck to lift him up. He exerted some strength and threw Caesars, who was either half-dead or in a coma out of the mourning hall. This created a long blood line on the yard. He then turned to the other four warriors and shouted, “Carry them and get out of here! Don’t mess up the place Rollin slept on.”
This was complete violence. The most atrocious and venomous act was being displayed in this small mourning hall. The four warriors looked at Qian Jin, losing their courage to attack. A Level 10 Warrior, Dokujinr, had been beaten half to death all of a sudden, and his deformation was identical to what he had threatened to do to Qian Jin.
The four warriors were separated into two groups. Each group lifted the Level 10 Warrior Dokujinr and Caesars respectively. They silently fled from the yard as swiftly as they could and closed the door on the way without taking another look at Qian Jin. They didn’t want to linger in this mourning hall for even one more second, losing all of their previous boldness when they ganged up to bully Rosella.
