Chapter 603 - ’m Sorry!

I Am A Prodigy

Chapter 603: I’m Sorry!

The middle-aged man leading the group had a sour expression. Looking at the chaotic scene and the bodyguards who had collapsed on the ground, he immediately realized the gravity of the situation

He immediately called a colleague who had witnessed the entire incident.

The colleague recounted everything concisely. On several occasions, his gaze drifted to Ye Lingchen and then to Hyun-Min Kim.

The middle-aged man was dumbstruck after hearing it. As rich as his imagination might be, it hardly occurred to him that the situation would end up being so drastic.

Someone rushed to one of the coma-stricken bodyguards and checked that person’s breath. He eventually breathed out a sigh of relief and was thankful that the person was still alive.

Hyun-Min Kim’s initial fear disappeared in an instant after seeing the person in charge’s arrival. His temper flared up and he raised his head to question the man in an arrogant voice, “Blablabla blabla?!”

The interpreter then said, “Is this how you people do your job? Did the guy have any right to assault Hyun-Min Kim for no reason? Where’s the law?!”

Ye Lingchen kept quiet as if watching a clown jumping around.

However, the crowd on one side could not take it anymore.

“F*cking sh*t! LOSER!”

“Shameless! The Stick Nation is as shameless as ever! ”

“They were the ones who pushed the little girl to the ground first!”

“I’ll bear witness to God Ye! I support God Ye!”

“Get the hell out of China, you Stick Nation dogs!”

“Not only did you push that little girl to the ground, you didn’t even have the decency to apologize. Now you’re twisting the facts! Stick Nation men have no balls!”

“F*CK! F*CKING B*STARDS. No moral bottom line at all!”

The person in charge was facing a very tense situation and had no choice but to attempt a compromise. “The both of you are reputable stars. It’s the Chinese New Year now, so try to coexist happily. In my opinion, it’s better to let this matter pass. Disagreements can sometimes spark friendships. Maybe you can make friends with each other.”

He was afraid of offending either side. If he sided with Hyun-Min Kim, he would be doing so under the scrutiny of the crowd. Therefore, showing too much respect to foreigners was out of the question. If he sided with Ye Lingchen, then Hyun-Min Kim would be doubly embarrassed after receiving a miserable lesson from Ye Lingchen.

Before Ye Lingchen could say anything, Hyun-Min Kim had lost control and began cursing.

“Blablablablabla, blabla. Blablablabla. Blablablablabla! Blabla! Blablabla!”

Translation: “This matter doesn’t end here! I must get justice today. I demand compensation for mental damage and medical expenses. Also, he has to apologize to me. I’ll sue him! Your China is a land of barbarians! A backward nation!”

Hyun-Min Kim was furious. Believing that Ye Lingchen would not dare to do anything after the person in charge came, he poured scorn over everyone and his arrogance made an appearance yet again.

He was far too accustomed to seeing the Chinese bend their knees to him and felt a sense of superiority.

That sentence soured the person in charge’s expression too. Generally, a man who was of sound mental health would feel indifferent, perhaps even disgusted, toward a Stick Nation celebrity.

“You wanna sue me?”

Ye Lingchen’s mouth curled slightly. With his expression remaining steadfast, he lifted his feet and walked toward Hyun-Min Kim. “Come on. Show me how you plan to sue me.”

Hyun-Min Kim’s face had a look of panic. He backed away and quickly said, “BLABLA! (Stop him!)”

However, Ye Lingchen was an unstoppable force—no one dared to come forward and hold him back.

“Stop beating him up, God Ye. It won’t be good if the situation escalates too much. The Spring Festival Gala is coming to an end and there shouldn’t be any more trouble. Calm down. Calm down!” the person in charge said hastily.

Ye Lingchen waved his hand. “I said it before. No one can save this guy today!”

“Lingchen, maybe…you can just forget about today,” Chen Xiaoyan spoke too. She was implying that he should give it a rest for the day and only teach the guy a lesson when there was an opportunity in the future.

“Yeah, the situation is different today. It looks like someone already called the police,” Zhao Liangying also said.

Evidently, it was Hyun-Min Kim’s diehard fans who called the police.

Ye Lingchen walked at a moderate pace but he soon reached within half-a-meter of Hyun-Min Kim. Like a sheep facing a tiger, Hyun-Min Kim’s face turned pale. His entire body shook like a leaf and he was so frightened that he could not utter a single word.

The next moment, Ye Lingchen stretched out one hand and lifted Hyun-Min Kim like a chicken.

“You seem to enjoy taking my words lightly, don’t you? Not to worry though, I’ll help you improve your memory today!” Ye Lingchen remarked curtly.

“God Ye, you really shouldn’t cause any more trouble! The Spring Festival Gala is about to end soon and all those important people are going to come out. The reporters will be arriving too!” The person in charge was practically crying.

He then walked to Ye Lingchen’s side and whispered, “God Ye, we can’t stand Hyun-Min Kim too. He’s the wrong party here, but if things continue going south, we won’t be any better than him too. Calmness and peace can be found if you just take a step back!”

“I’m not in the habit of taking a step back. I’ll always settle scores with those who make me unhappy!” Ye Lingchen replied faintly.

The person in charge was silent. “…”

Everyone looked at Ye Lingchen.

Slap!

From out of the blue, a loud slap rang in everyone’s ears and caused their hearts to skip a beat.

It… Could it be?

They covered their mouths without thinking and saw a deep palm print on Hyun-Min Kim’s cheek!

Hyun-Min Kim was dumbfounded too. His eyes were dreary as if he could not believe that he had just been slapped in the face.

“I was slapped? Did someone actually slap me?!” He shouted in his heart. The pain made him snap back to his senses but his face became distorted. “How dare you hit me? How dare you hit me?! You’re toast! I’ll sue you on behalf of the Stick Nation!”

He was the attractive type of star and relied on his good looks to make a living. That face of his was more important than life itself and he was that much closer to going mad!

Slap!

Another merciless slap greeted him and stunned him silly.

One could visibly see how badly swollen Hyun-Min Kim’s handsome face became.

The first two slaps were the prelude that allowed everyone to be mentally prepared.

The next moment—

Slap, slap, slap!

Ye Lingchen rhythmically moved his hand and slapped from both sides, like fanning a flame.

There were thousands of people at the venue, and everyone was quiet. None of them had any idea what mood they were in at the moment, and all they could hear was a quick series of slaps.

The person in charge’s chin nearly fell to the ground. It was all over! Things had really gone south!

The masses stared with widened eyes and were completely stunned!

The superstars were dumbfounded and became as stiff as a statue! It was terrifying! Too terrifying!

Extraordinary ruthlessness!

It was the pinnacle of extraordinary ruthlessness!

“You can’t hit him anymore! You can’t continue to hit him! One more strike and he’ll be dead!” The person in charge said in a trembling voice.

Ye Lingchen stopped.

Kim Hyun Min’s face swelled to the point he looked pig-like. His mother might not even recognize him if he was placed in front of her.

It was a sight too horrible to endure.

“APOLOGIZE!”

Ye Lingchen ordered coldly.

The bodyguard quickly translated it to Hyun-Min Kim.

Hyun-Min Kim had a look of sheer fright as he stared at Ye Lingchen’s eyes. His swollen mouth bulged up and he said, “Blabla!”

“Speak Chinese!”

“I… I’m sorry.”

At this moment, Ye Lingchen put down Hyun-Min Kim abruptly and pressed down, forcing the latter to kneel on the ground. He faced the crowd and the national flag behind the crowd!

It was no surprise that national flags were displayed all around the Spring Festival Gala venue, fluttering high up in the wind.

“Face our country’s national flag and your fans! Then say it out loud to me one more time! ”

“I’m sorry!”
