Then she quickly closed her eyes as the hearts of the people facing her almost sunk in horror.

Her prayers slowly turned into whispers and as if everything around the temple was held still by some mighty force, the cold air suddenly started flowing once again and as if the world could breathe.

No one ever felt thirsty for air this much in their entire lives.

It is as if the air suddenly became the tastiest thing to breathe and their hearts elevated with every joyous breath of air they take.

A miracle they have no idea what it means!

"The curse is lifted!" Alina said and retreated from the altar immediately with a tired face.

"Alina…" Jullanar felt that Alina was weak and so she ran towards her with the others keeping on their tail.

"It is over, I want to sleep for a little bit." Alina seemed already exhausted but she knew things were not over yet.

She has to complete her last part in the play to put the Empire in its place for good this time. If this plan failed to continue, the Empire won't give up its ambitions of trying to interfere in Winterhold.

They had to realize that they are outmatched by all means whether it is the relation with the Divines or what comes next.

Alina found her way outside the temple as many people of power flocked around her asking for a moment of her time as always but what blocked her way was none other than the General of the Empire, Tullius.

He was standing there with an attachment of his guards carrying an imposing air around themselves. They are finally going for it.

"Lady Alina, my men informed me that the Armor is purified." The General said.

"Indeed." Alina nodded.

"I am pleased with your effort. On behalf of the Empire, I thank you greatly." The General said his piece and moved to the next topic immediately, "In regards to the Dragonborn, we expect him to drop by the military headquarters in order to collect the armor as promised."

"How generous!" Alina replied with a smile.

"That is why I was thinking of delivering this armor personally to the man in question." General Tullius added, "I believe he is staying somewhere around Winterhold."

"And what makes you believe that?" Alina asked back.

"Simply the fact that Thane Jon Dare is the only contact method we know of to the Dragonborn, it is only natural that he lives around there." The General said and added, "Of course he has to officially sign some legal documents for lending him the armor he is surely worthy of."

And so the Empire reveals its true intentions once again. Getting hold of the Dragonborn.

They had to throw out one big bait this time and believe in Fate and the worth of the Dragonborn in order to attract him to their cause.

Putting aside the material benefit, General Tullius was so sure that if he was fully backed by the Elder Council, he would offer anyone one a better deal than whatever deal Jon Dare may fork out… and he was right.

The Empire simply owns everything in the Empire, Jon's power barely extends over one-ninth of Skyrim.

If the Dragonborn was to be attracted by something as lucrative as the Lord's Mail, an armor only used by legendary men, then it would be easy to invite him over. No one would approach Jon Dare if they don't have that base level of greed after all.

He wasn't wrong in any of that too.

But Alina had buckets of cold water ready to be poured on the head of the Imperial General.

"So… you're saying that my husband monopolizes the Dragonborn?" Alina asked with an extremely offended face.

Her hypocrite tone made everyone around her look at themselves and giggle.

"What else should we call it?" The General himself couldn't help it as he was really amused by how offended Alina had become.

"But that's simply a hoax, Jon would never monopolize the champion of the world all to himself." Alina added.

"Is that so?" The General laughed further.

"Lady Alina… I think that's a little bit strange to deny it…" Even Elisif made a not so confident face in this situation.

At that moment Jullanar stepped in.

"We're denying it because it is not true, Mister General. Jon would never monopolize someone he can't even monopolize. I mean… how can someone actually do it… it doesn't make sense!" Jullanar kept on her act, "All our Jon did was to spend money on the Dragonborn whenever the latter needed to since that's the only money he gets."

"Then we also promise you to be generous with the Dragonborn, young miss." General Tullius added.

"Fine. Go tell him that." She said with utter dismissiveness.

"And where can I find him?" The General asked patiently.

"I don't know." Jullanar replied, "How do people find other people?"

The General blinked twice trying to figure out why this half-Dunmer girl is the one confusing him now.

"We respectfully send them a note to meet us." The General replied.

"Exactly! You call for them to come over." Jullanar applauded the general.

"So… we just invite the Dragonborn over? Publically?" The General asked.

"Duh! Ever tried it before?" Jullanar made an obvious face.

Truth be told, General Tullius may have never thought about asking the Dragonborn over. All he thought about, as well as everyone else, is that Jon Dare is limiting access to the Dragonborn only to himself ever since that time when the two appeared in Whiterun for the first time.

"So we hang signs at the inns?" The General asked the people around him, "Send a courier, maybe? Those people tend to reach everyone easily."

"Woah! Woah! No need to involve the couriers!" Jullanar raised her hands, "You're just calling somebody over. All of Skyrim knows how it is done."

"How so?"

"Like… you're really asking me, Mister General?" Jullanar asked but everyone was looking at her clueless, "And I was supposed to be the crazy one. Fine… I'll give you an example… when you call for someone, you must inhale deeply and use your voice to utter their name… for example, Alina."

"Yes." Alina replied.

"See?"

At this point, there was no need to understand that Jullanar was making fun of the top dogs of the Empire and Skyrim just in one go. An event that was never heard of in the entirety of known history.

Even the General was out of words.

"Look at you people, things are so obvious and you can't even figure it out on your own." Jullanar asked.

"Is this some sort of a joke to you?" At this moment, the General asked with the most serious of faces.

He was so done with Jullanar that he would imprison her on the spot.

"All I said was to use your voice. That's how you call someone over, much less a Dragonborn." Jullanar said with a mocking smile, "You're making a big deal of it, Mister General."

"Use my voice, huh?" The General took a step forward towards Jullanar imposing his warrior aura towards her.

"Of course, the whole Skyrim knows how to summon a Dragonborn with voice. Just call his name and he comes over." Jullanar was not phased one bit by General Tullius and his aura.

She was even daring him using a tiny bit of her Aura back.

"Why don't you use your voice to call him then?" The General asked on the verge of drawing his sword.

"Me?" Jullanar pointed to herself before laughing, "Pffft! Nah! I am not talented in that field… Alina, however…"

"Wait! What?" The General felt awkward for a second feeling that he fell into some sort of trap.

Calling them by voice… the power of the…

Crap!

"Alina!" Jullanar called.

"Oh! With pleasure…" Alina was grinning ear to ear as she inhaled one strong breath of air and the entire space and time shook around her as she shouted …

"DOVAHKIIN!"
