The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady
Chapter 1760 – Rescue (4)
Hall was rendered stunned as he watched the bunch of bastards who had appeared out of nowhere. Just now, he could already see himself taking his goals into his arms, when suddenly, another two humans completely disrupted his plan with three powerful magical beasts.
The sky was blazing with flames; lightning flashed and thunder rumbled, pieces of bone debris fell like rain to the ground.
On the earth, the gigantic and astonishing magical beast chased the undead around. No matter how the undead attacked, it had no effect on it. Let alone seriously injuring the other side, they could not even break the skin of the giant beast.
Where the hell did this Killing God come from? Should it be so cruel?
Shen Yanxiao and Yang Xi looked at each other and found that there seemed to be nothing for them to do. And so, they just immediately looked for the position of Wen Ya.
A wind arose as soon as Shen Yanxiao lifted her feet, rushing towards her mother in an instant.
Wen Ya and the handsome man who had been besieged by the undead suddenly saw the arrival of reinforcements. The undead, after witnessing the three magical beasts slaughtering their companions, became frightened and no longer continued to besiege the two of them as they fled for their lives one by one.
“Little Ya.” The man’s bright eyes were staring at the tiny figure which was approaching them rapidly, and there was a trace of surprise in his eyes.
“Hm?”
“That…”
“Your daughter.”
“…” The man who could keep 101 smiling faces during the battle finally turned a little stiff.
“Mother! Are you all right?” Shen Yanxiao arrived in front of Wen Ya in an instant. She nervously examined Wen Ya from head to toe and made sure that the other side was not wounded; only then did she feel relieved.
“I’m fine.” Wen Ya looked at the daughter she had not seen for a long time, and the excitement in her eyes was hard to hide.
“You’ve grown a little taller, but you’ve lost weight. Are you working too hard?” Wen Ya reached out and touched Shen Yanxiao’s small and flawless face. Her beautiful face looked so thin and tired in her mother’s eyes.
“I’m all right. I made mother worried.” Shen Yanxiao smiled.
“What are you doing here? I heard from Qian Yuan that you came to the Hidden Dragon Continent and we were about to look for you, but we didn’t expect to encounter this group of undead halfway.” Upon knowing that Shen Yanxiao was in Hidden Dragon Continent, Wen Ya almost could not wait another minute to see her.
“When we arrived in the north, we learned that you were under siege, so we came here.”
“You have really grown up.” Wen Ya smiled and gently stroked Shen Yanxiao’s small head.
The man on the side was as stiff as a fossil and wasn’t able to make a sound for quite a while.
“Come and see your father.” Wen Ya wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and led Shen Yanxiao by her small hand to the man’s side.
Shen Yu looked at the girl standing in front of him. She was still so petite, but her whole body was full of wisdom. He couldn’t find a trace of naivety in her clear eyes.
“Little Xiao’er?” Shen Yu’s voice trembled as he called out.
“Father.” Shen Yanxiao’s voice also fluctuated.
For the first time in her life, she called someone father.
Shen Yu smiled, and the smile on his handsome face was enough to melt the ice and snow in the cold winter. He took a step forward, opened his arms, and embraced his little daughter, who had his blood flowing through her.
“I finally met you.”
Yang Xi silently stood on the sidelines as he watched this family reunion; he felt happy for Shen Yanxiao inside.
As for the battlefields in the sky and the land, they had been left to the care of three guys who desired to see the world plunged into chaos.
One family was happy over there, completely forgetting that they were still in the middle of a battlefield.
