Spending the Villain’s Money to Extend My Life

Chapter 311: “Where are we going this late in the night?” (2)

Gu Shishi had no idea that her little actions gave the man a lot of room for imagination.

She was just curious why the boss stopped again.

“It’s so late already. Where are we going?”

Huo Sishen cleared his throat and finally turned the dim burning in his eyes away from her.

“Sit here.”

He pulled out a chair when they arrived in the dining area.

“Oh.”

Gu Shishi sat down and rested her head on her palm.

Huo Sishen didn’t elaborate nor did she ask.

She only wiggled a little in discomfort after Huo Sishen had dumped out all of the coffee from the cat claw mug.

But, quickly, her attention had gone from the 2 yuan a bag instant coffee to the wide back of the man.

The curvature of his back was aerodynamic, broad and sexy. His muscle was taut and that V-shape was enough to make one’s blood rush…

Tsk.

Its proportion was perfect.

Only a body like this could make a suit look good and domineering.

Even with just a white shirt on, it was still candy to the eyes.

Gu Shishi only wished she could pull off his shirt and really study his muscles. After all, her gongbi drawing needed to be realistic.

Behind every glamours drawing was tens and tens of years of hard work.

Behind every successful line was built upon tens of thousands of failed strokes.

The only way to success nonstop studying and pondering.

“What are you thinking?”

A steaming cup of latte was placed in front of her.

Gu Shishi parted her red lips and said, “How are you so good looking?”

Huo Sishen, “……”

Even his fingers that was holding onto the coffee mug twitched for a second there.

It was only after there was an awkward silence in the air when Gu Shishi finally realized what she had just said.

Mmm. Haha. How shameful was that!

“No, I meant.” She immediately waved her hand, wanting to fix the misunderstanding. “Your back is somewhat pretty. Ugh, I meant to say, you are better looking than all the men that I have drawn… oh… PEI!”

“In short, I wanted to study… you… um…”

How was he so good looking?!

Oh boy! Oh boy!

The more she said, the worse it seemed to get.

Gu Shishi felt desperate.

If only she could level up from shame, she’d be at max by now!

She closed her eyes desperately.

Truth be told, she was a flirtatious kind of girl.

This truly was spoken from an artistic and academic angle.

“Mr. Huo. Did you know that Gu Kaizhi had once said that when it comes to drawing, people are the most difficult to draw, followed by nature scenery, followed by animals?

“When it comes to portraits, impressionistic ones notwithstanding, realistic ones require the studying of bone and muscle proportions and how their appearances change when performing different actions… that is the only way to give the characters under your brush flesh, blood, and beauty….”

Gu Shishi rambled on and her head hung lower and lower.

Huo Sishen had no expression on him but the corners of his mouth raised a little.

“Mmmhm, that’s why you were studying why I am so good looking?”

“Mmhmm!”

Gu Shishi nodded repeatedly, then stiffened again.

That was certainly a conclusion that could make one blush.

“Oh, is this the coffee that you’ve made?”

Gu Shishi tied to change the subject and that was when she noticed the cup of coffee sitting in front of her.

“Having too much instant coffee is bad for your health.”

A smile flashed through Huo Sishen’s eyes and he didn’t continue the subject that she found embarrassing.

He nodded and pushed the cup of coffee closer to her.

“Try this. Whenever you want them in the future, have Aunty Lin bring it to you.”

Gu Shishi lowered her head.

She blushed once again.

There was milk foam in the mug….

The boss was very deadly!

Was this all meant to be?

She lifted her flushed face and looked at the man who was sitting calmly across from her, also with a cup in his hand.

Okay. It’s now or it’s never!

She closed her eyes, lifted the mug with both hands and took a sip out of it.

She kept her mouth closed.

She took a small sip. The milk taste was rich and the coffee taste strong. The sensation spread in one’s mouth and, surely, was much richer than that of the instant coffee, except not as sweet without the sweetener.

Feeling a round of wetness above her lips, she blinked her eyes and look over at the man sitting across from her with her limpid eyes.

Huo Sishen put down his mug and saw the girl, in his wide sweater, holding onto the mug delicately with her two hands and blinked and looked at him with her limpid eyes.

Her fair cheeks were pink and puff with a around of soft milk foam above her lips. There were stars sparkling in her limpid eyes.

She looked like… the puppy next door begging for a treat.
