Chapter 797 - Bloodbath

Sword Among Us

Chapter 797: Bloodbath

Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!

The ground in the branch was made of sturdy flagstone tiles, but under the fierce attacks from the bows, those tiles were like biscuits that all crumbled behind Happy.

The destruction extended from the entrance of the branch to the hall, and the road, which was about one hundred feet long and six and a half feet wide, was reduced to rubble, but not a single arrow could catch up with Happy.

Happy ignored the hundred or so archers on both sides of the wall and used his fastest speed to rush into the hall. While a group of Class One Hall elites cried out in surprise, he massacred them!

Teacher did not log off.

If he did not run into Happy just moments, perhaps he will choose to log off to avoid the carnage when he learned that Happy had arrived.

But once Happy killed all his disciples and chased after him to the branch, Teacher found himself unable to log off.

When he saw Happy easily charge into the hall of the branch, Teacher gnashed his teeth, mixed with a group of Class One Hall elites, and thrust his sword forward without any regard for his life.

“Attack him together!”

“Destroy him!”

At this point, they can no longer run away even if they wanted to, and fighting against Happy was their only option.

More than one hundred Class One Hall elites in the hall swiftly formed a line, and all sorts of sword forces as well as saber glares roared in the sky while they intersected with each other to attack Happy, who had rushed into their midst, in an attempt to force Happy outside and expose him to the archers outside.

They had a good plan, but the possibility of their plan working will actually have to depend on the opponent they faced!

Happy had his reasons for leaving those archers outside alive.

The arrows behind him still came at him endlessly, and before him were the lights and shadows from various weapons.

In the blink of an eye, the Class One Hall elites had already surrounded him in a pincer attack.

Happy remained calm. An astonishing vortex of qi quickly surged out of his body, and under the dim light, he could vaguely see the seven lights that formed the Big Dipper appearing briefly.

Shifting Stars!

Class One Hall’s elites had their expressions change.

Right when they noticed their bodies and attacks being led around to turn toward the friends closest to them against their will, their faces turned pale, but they could do nothing to turn the situation around.

They activated their body fortifications.

But at that moment, Happy turned around rapidly like a top, and hundreds of arrows shot through the door like a raging storm, piercing through the wood that formed the door and into the hall.

The arrows that approached Happy were all directed to his sides by a strange power, as if the arrows were all released behind Happy.

The hundred or so elites in the hall were instantly struck by misfortune. They had descended into panic by the chaotic attacks just now, and they were already caught off guard, because of it, they practically had to endure all the damage from the arrows.

Thud! Thud!

“AH!”

Screams of pain, the sounds of arrows piercing through flesh, and the sounds of bodies falling to the ground rose and fell.

The danger Happy faced was dissolved. With just one Shifting Stars, Happy also instantly injured more than one hundred Class One Hall members, and the damage on them was great. Aside from Teacher, who had been alerted of this and avoided the aggressive attacks, every single person in the hall was shot by arrows and fell to the ground while moaning and struggling.

This scene shocked all the Class One Hall members inside and outside the hall.

Immediately, the hundred or so archers on the hall stopped attacking. They stared at Happy’s back in shock while he walked into the hall from the entrance, and they sucked in sharp breaths.

Not only had their attacks been unable to stop or hurt Happy, their arrows had in turn transformed into weapons that helped Happy in his dastardly deeds. They injured their own friends, and there was no way they could bear with this shock. Now, they did not dare attack readily.

The group of people watched Happy walk into the hall and move past the moaning and struggling Class One Hall members. Then, he arrived in front of a middle-aged man who stood in front of him with a complicated look on his face.

A clear voice rang in the hall. “I told you that as long as I am around, there will not even be the slightest chance for Dragon Sect to gain a footing in the Chinese world of martial artists.”

His voice was clear and firm.

Teacher’s expression was dark.

He would not be bothered if someone else told him these words, but Happy… was the strongest player in the Chinese server as well as the leader of the strongest sect in the same server.

Even if they were under Class One Hall’s protection, they still ended up this way, and he was forced to think and ponder about this carefully now.

The Dragon Sect members who came to the Chinese server had all died at least once and at most four times. Even he, who had never died in the American server, will soon die the second time in the Chinese server and in the hands of this young player.

“…ACK!”

A few Class One Hall members tried to ambush Happy, but when they circulated their true qi even in the slightest bit, Happy locked down on their actions, and with one Joined Finger, he struck their vital parts without a sound, and they fell dead quietly.

For the first time ever, Teacher sensed a pressure that he could not fight against before Happy, and even his words had turned incredibly hoarse and powerless. “Happy, don’t go overboard! The Chinese server is not your world alone, and your words aren’t the law here.”

“I don’t need you reminding me of this fact.” Happy chuckled softly. He did not slow down and arrived sixteen feet away from Teacher. Teacher still did not dare do anything. In fact, even his sword-wielding arm did not seem to be battle ready. All he did was stare fixedly at Happy.

Happy did not know that Teacher had been shocked by his Ten Thousand Swords while they were on the government-made road outside the town, and he now had a clear grasp of the difference between them.

The Shifting Stars just now had instantly destroyed more than one hundred Class One Hall members like a hot knife cutting into butter, and Teacher had already completely given up on any pointless resistance.

Happy arrived right in front of Teacher and continued saying, “But I will not allow my enemies to perform deals that will not be beneficial to me right under my nose, such as you, Dragon Sect. As long as you are in the Chinese world of martial artists, Mu Clan will continue targeting you. Class One Hall will not be able to stop me, and no one can.”

Teacher said nothing. His expression instantly turned even more sour.

Happy changed his tone and said with an airy voice, “If you continue staying in the Chinese server, then you must be prepared to have everything your qi realm completely destroyed.”

Once he finished speaking, he drew his Noble Sword resolutely from its sheath.

Clang!

A clear sword whine rose, and Teacher shuddered. A few seconds later, a thin red line slowly became clear on his throat, and blood poured out nonstop from it.

Happy turned around and left without hesitation.

When he arrived at the entrance, his gaze wandered about to sweep through the Class One Hall members on the floor struggling to get to their feet. He suddenly said something that caused all the people in the branch to feel chills run down their spines, “Barren Murderer killed around ten Mu Clan members at our branch. Since you’re here, you might as well pay for their lives.”

His sword traveled forth silently.

A sharp sword qi instantly filled up the entire hall.

Rustling sounds of air being sliced rose. The air weeped, and sword whines could be heard nonstop.

A dense wave of sword qis came charging at them, and they instantly pierced through the hall until it was full of holes. The Class One Hall members who had been severely injured by the arrows and lay paralyzed on the ground did not have time to react to the situation, because before they could, they were already struck down by the fierce sword qis that moved about the air.

Sword qis traveled freely before all ten thousand of them became one!

The sword qis appeared very quickly, but also disappeared just as quickly. The Class One Hall elites who were heavily injured and were trying to get to their feet all died in an instant. Wind blew past them, and the hall became silent. Only flowing red blood connected with each other on the ground, and soon, they turned into a terrifying, large stream.
