Chapter 358
Summoner of Miracles
Chapter 358
“Now, Asuna.”
Seeing Rozen was still occupied with the monsters, Liz could not help but ask Asuna.
“Isn’t it about time you tell me who that guy is?”
This was a question that naturally would arise.
“Setting those rare materials in his possession aside, that strength clearly doesn’t belong to an average Clearer.”
Liz asked and stated the points she found weird.
“Even if that sword’s attack damage is beyond this Floor’s standard, there’s no way a Player can be that reckless.”
Liz was undoubtedly correct. This was the 60th Floor, after all. The Clearers, who had reached the safety level, indeed could take on multiple monsters simultaneously.
However, there was still a limit to how many monsters they could take even though the one they faced was Outer Field’s monsters instead of the higher-leveled Labyrinth’s monsters.
Take Asuna as an example. She might be able to deal with four or five bulls Rozen was facing at the same time.
She’d have to push herself if she wanted to take seven or eight at the same time, but facing ten at once was definitely risky.
Even if she ultimately managed to kill all ten monsters, she would be cutting it close for sure.
That was Asuna’s limit, one of the strongest Players among the Clearers’ limit. Needless to say, most Clearers wouldn’t even come close.
Yet, Rozen was currently dealing with more than 30 monsters at the same time, and not only did he manage to kill the monsters with ease, he also dodged every single one of the monsters’ attacks, leaving his hp bar untouched, and that was without his Tamed Beasts’ assistance, meaning he hasn’t even gotten serious yet.
Rozen made what he was doing seemed so easy. If Asuna didn’t witness the duel between Rozen and Heathcliff that ended with a draw, she would’ve been surprised by the scene in front of her, so it couldn’t be helped if Liz was surprised.
His strength, abundant resources, and for Asuna to introduce him personally to Liz, with all these factors, there was no way Liz wouldn’t be curious about Rozen.
“That’s…”
Asuna hesitated, but when she thought about it again, she realized that there was no need to hide Rozen’s identity from Liz.
Setting the low and middle-level Players who barely met the Clearers aside, Liz was qualified enough to forge even the Clearers’ weapons.
Although her level was not that high, she had quite a number of customers among the Clearers, which made her not exactly a stranger to the Clearers, so she thought it shouldn’t be a problem to reveal Rozen’s identity to Liz.
With that in mind, Asuna told Liz about who Rozen was.
“To tell the truth…”
While Asuna was telling Liz about Rozen’s identity, the person in question was admiring the sword in his hand.
“It’s a good sword…”
In addition to the weight, Rozen felt comfortable the moment he gripped the hilt, allowing him to cut through the monsters’ thick skin with ease as if cutting butter with a kitchen knife.
Rozen had used many weapons in the past, yet none of them matched this one. He fell in love with this sword almost immediately.
“Now I understand why swordsmen are so obsessed with swords.”
Rozen was a mage, after all. Even though now his avatar allowed him to fight in close combat, considering how the game worked, he never understood the thrill of a fight.
Compared to fighting, Rozen preferred to immerse himself in magecraft, like a paranoid scholar.
Rozen believed that there was no need to fight unless he had to. Let alone enjoying the thrill of battle, he outright despised the fight in the first place.
Even if he seemed excited in battle sometimes, that was because he was looking forward to testing out his magecraft, not the battle itself.
But now, Rozen somewhat understood that feeling.
“Now that I’ve experienced it myself, it’s not that bad.”
Dark Repulser made him feel this way. Then a thought suddenly came to his mind.
“Is this how it feels when servants fight with their Noble Phantasm?”
If that was the case, he believed that he would be able to further understand the Heroic Spirits, allowing him to draw out their potential and command them more effectively.
“I’ll ask Mashu later.”
Rozen recalled his sole contracted Servant while constantly dodging the bulls’ attacks and struck them with deadly strikes. One monster after another fell before Rozen and his Eye of the Mind.
Before long, the wasteland became quiet once again. All 30 bulls that charged toward Rozen was dead before he realized it.
“That sure was fast.”
Rozen said excitedly.
at this time……
“He is the Magician??”
Liz’s exclamation resounded from afar, startling Rozen, then he looked toward Liz as if knowing what happened.
He saw Liz was looking at Asuna with a surprised look on her face, while Asuna was smiling wryly.
Rozen shrugged and approached them.
“Thank you. I really like this sword.”
Rozen said this to Liz, who was still dumbfounded.
“Now, as for the service fee.”
Rozen said while sending Liz a trade request to pay for her blacksmith service.
However, Liz did not even notice the trade request window in front of her. She just stared at Rozen blankly, and no one knew what she was thinking.
“Liz?”
Asuna was a little surprised.
“What happened?”
Rozen was also somewhat puzzled.
Hearing Asuna’s words, Liz pondered for a moment, and then immediately said…
“Sorry, Asuna, wait for me here.”
And then she turned toward Rozen.
“Come with me. I have something to tell you.”
Liz took Rozen and walked away from Asuna.
