Chapter 383: The bottle of water slipped from Huo Sishen’s hand when he heard the caption. (2)
He lifted his hand and had Siyi walked inside.
Gu Shishi bit her lip.
Was he not curious about her work at all?
That was disappointing.
Siyi, on the other hand, had already captured his boss’s gesture the minute that he stepped out of the car.
– buy it.
Siyi nodded right away.
Got it!
Huo Sishen shut his eyes once again.
Gu Shishi poked her head out of the car window anxiously and added, “Siyi, remember to livestream to me what goes on inside~”
She waved her cellphone at hm.
Siyi took the order right away and left with his Bluetooth earpiece in his ear.
Naturally Gu Shishi wanted to listen to others’ comments on her work.
Objective comments that had nothing to do with her.
This was the first time Siyi had walked into the venue of an art association.
Nevertheless, he had been to a few auctions with his boss and he was a worldly person.
When he arrived at the location, he followed the instructions on the address and walked up to the second floor of the bungalow.
He, too, was taken aback a little when he walked upstairs.
This place wasn’t just classy; it was a shock to one’s senses!
The not-so-big room of roughtly 50~60 square meter was filled with grandmas and grandpas, all with white hair.
Siyi felt very out of place as soon as he had stepped inside!
He had on a set of black uniform. He was fit with strong gait.
He might as well be from an entirely different world!
“Lao Li, your flowers and birds are getting even better!”
“Hoho, your portrait isn’t bad either. The expression is even more natural than the previous time!”
“Ah, speaking of portraits, Brother Lei is still the best!”
“No, no, that’s not true…”
All of the elderlies were surrounding and discussing each other’s work enthusiastically.
They had, however, quickly noticed the very out-of-place Siyi.
“Are you at the wrong place, kiddo? We have an event here today.”
An old man in Chinese tunic suit with a slight beer gut and a head full of white hair smiled and said to him.

“This place is not labeled very well. Are you trying to go to the oil painting section? Go out of here, take a right. It’s that building over there.”
Everybody else nodded.
Siyi, on the other hand, cleared his throat and put down the mailing tube.
“Hi, fellow seniors. I am at the right place. I am here to submit a work for this exchange.”
Everybody looked at his filled with surprise.
“Huh?!”
“Don’t tell me you are the Ink Painting Guru, our newest member!”
“Someone from a younger generation? You being referred into the group by President Huang in person, I assumed you are around our age.”
“Little friend, which school are you from? And who is your master?”
“Are you a disciple of President Huang?”
Everybody started speculation before Siyi could even talk.
Sure enough, it was exactly what Gu Shishi had expected. They had already started to label him someone of a younger generation before they even looked at her work.
“Fellow seniors, I am here to submit this painting for my housemaster. She couldn’t make it today and had me bring this over to share with you all. I will be taking some pictures of your work and also get some feedback from you on her work.”
In short, he was just the messenger.
Everybody got it right away.
Siyi worried that they would boot him out but that didn’t happen at all.
Not only did they not boot him out, they could relay and were particularly affectionate with him.
“Ah, did he have trouble walking?”
“I missed our gathering last time because I had hurt my back. Would you like a recommendation to the medicinal cream that I used?”
“Yes, one has so much going on when one is old. My little granddaughter’s kindergarten has some event today as well. Luckily, her mother has the day off so I could snuck out!”
All the elderlies expressed their viewpoints.
Siyi had no idea what to say to that so he quickly pulled out the painting and carefully laid it out on the table.
