I Might Be A Fake Cultivator
Chapter 1826: Information About the Eastern Heavenly Gate Heavenly Gods
An Lin didn’t even want to get his hopes up anymore. “What is it?”
Xiao Tu replied, “I obtained some valuable information at the expense of one of my lives.”
“At the end of the East Sea, where the Eastern Heavenly Gate is situated, there is a place with no sense of direction and a vast expanse of white mist that can disable one’s divine sense. If it weren’t for the fact that I was able to see through the white mist with my powerful dragon eyes, I wouldn’t even have been able to see the Eastern Heavenly Gate.”
An Lin could already see where this was going. “And then you were confronted by Heavenly Gods along the way, right?”
Xiao Tu nodded. “They were extremely fearful of me and deployed three Heavenly Gods to kill me! Add that to the three Heavenly Gods who were fighting our eastern front army, that shows that there are at least six Heavenly Gods at the Eastern Heavenly Gate!”
An Lin’s expression remained unchanged upon hearing this. “What happened next?”
“After that, I managed to glean the abilities of the three Heavenly Gods through battle. This information will perhaps be beneficial to us in the future.”
An Lin’s interest was finally piqued upon hearing this. Indeed, all Heavenly Gods possessed mysterious and unpredictable abilities. If they could be alerted to the enemies’ abilities in advance, they would be able to make preparations in accordance, thereby raising their chances of victory.
Xiao Tu replied, “One of the Heavenly Gods wielded a massive saber with golden symbols on it. His saber techniques were extraordinarily skillful and powerful, allowing him to easily slice through my True Dragon Scales. Even in my True Dragon form, I was sliced into several hundred pieces by him.
“There was also a Heavenly God with a crimson divine halo. He wielded the most powerful flames in this world, and just one slap from him roasted my entire body.
“The final Heavenly God was a really peculiar one. Its entire body was shrouded in mist, and it only touched my body gently, upon which all of the tissues within my body began to quickly decay and atrophy. Not only that, but I was reduced to a lower level of life form as my bloodline degenerated, and I was reduced to a snake in the end…
“After that, right when I was on the brink of death, a pure white light suddenly erupted in the distance. The light was seemingly imbued with boundless hope, and I knew that if that light came into contact with me, my existence would be completely wiped away, leaving me unable to even resurrect myself, so I chose to self-detonate!”
An Lin’s heart throbbed for Xiao Tu upon hearing his tragic experiences. “Xiao Tu, this was no battle, you went there to be tortured…”
Xiao Tu stood up straight with a proud expression. “The process is not important. What’s important is the result.”
“The result is that you died.” The Spirit Maiden crossed her arms.
“…” Xiao Tu refuted, “No, the result is that I managed to glean the abilities of three Heavenly Gods and I managed to resurrect myself as well. As such, I have achieved something other than just dying!”
A gratified expression appeared on An Lin’s face. “This is indeed very valuable information, but please don’t be so impulsive next time. The light you encountered at the end was most likely the power of the Heavenly Light Goddess. If you didn’t self-detonate in time, you could have permanently died…”
Xiao Tu was quite pleased to be acknowledged by An Lin, and he continued to hum a joyful tune as he worked on his resurrection formation.
The Spirit Maiden was still very angry. This was the place where the Spirit Patriarch had been buried, so it was a sacred place to her. The fact that Xiao Tu was strutting around and setting up his formation here really pissed her off.
However, she knew that those who were alive were more important than the dead, so she did not stop Xiao Tu and could only fume in silence.
An Lin was feeling quite sympathetic toward her and gave her a few spirit fruits that would help to improve her soul power in order to curb her rage.
After that, he returned to the Sect Leader Palace.
There was one piece of information that Xiao Tu had provided that he found very important.
The Heavenly God with the crimson divine halo was most likely the Heavenly Fire God.
An Lin had a phenomenal success stage body of the War God mission that required him to cultivate his cultivation methods of the five elements to the ninth stage. Now that he had perfected his metal and earth-type cultivation methods, he was still missing wood, water, and fire.
He looked at the information laid out on the table before him. These were images of the locations where the two Dao Integration Stage super mighty figures and twenty-three Return to Void Stage mighty figures had fallen in the past few days.
The killing spree the Heavenly Gods were going on placed all powerful beings on the Tai Chu Continent into a state of anxiety.
“There are three types of scenarios. The victims were either crushed into mincemeat, twisted into strange shapes, or completely burned away into nothingness with scorched earth at the scene…” An Lin made a decision upon surveying these images.
“Little Ling, summon the Blood Martial Wanderer,” An Lin instructed.
“Yes, Master.” Ye Ling bowed before departing to carry out his instructions.
Soon, a humanoid living being with pristine, white skin with a crimson cross on his face, dressed in a black robe and a conical bamboo hat appeared before An Lin, upon which he immediately extended a respectful bow. “Blood Martial Wanderer pays his respects to Sect Leader An Lin!”
“No need for formalities.” An Lin smiled.
The Blood Martial Wanderer was a mighty figure at the Return to Void Pinnacle Stage who liked to travel throughout the Tai Chu Continent. However, the recent events had struck fear into his heart, so he came to the Four Nine Immortal Sect in order to seek refuge.
After all, the Heavenly Gods generally targeted powerful beings who traveled alone and did not attack large sects.
“I’ve summoned you here as I need you to do me a favor.” An Lin stood up.
“Please feel free to tell me what you need, and I will be sure to do my best to help you, Sect Leader An Lin.”
The Blood Martial Wanderer was very grateful to the Four Nine Immortal Sect for taking him in during some tumultuous times, and he was willing to help in any way that he could.
Ye Ling stood off to the side and blinked with curiosity.
“Please stand there and don’t move…” Blue, liquid tentacles suddenly appeared behind An Lin, and they emanated a peculiar blue light before elongating and extending toward the Blood Martial Wanderer. “Let me examine you…”
Ye Ling was astonished.
The Blood Martial Wanderer hurtled back in a frantic retreat. “No… Sect Leader An Lin… what are you doing?!”
However, it was already too late. An Lin’s tentacles quickly wrapped themselves around his legs, waist, chest, arms, neck, face…
“No…!”
The Blood Martial Wanderer let loose an anguished wail.
Ye Ling’s eyes widened even further as she clamped a hand over her mouth.
Fifteen minutes later.
The Blood Martial Wanderer made his way out of the Sect Leader Palace on unsteady feet.
He looked at the sun in the sky and heaved a forlorn sigh.
Ye Ling stood behind him with sympathy in her eyes.
“Little Ling, what do you think?” a deep, male voice sounded from behind her.
Ye Ling turned to discover a humanoid living being with pristine, white skin and a crimson cross on his face. This humanoid living being was dressed in a black robe and a conical bamboo hat and was looking at her with a smile.
Two dimples appeared on Ye Ling’s cheeks as she smiled. “Master is so awesome! You’re exactly identical to the Blood Martial Wanderer both in outward appearance and even aura!”
An Lin nodded with a content expression. “Tell Xiaolan that I’m going on a trip.”
“What are you going to do?” Ye Ling asked.
An Lin: “I’m going to kill some Heavenly Gods!”
